Retailing at $79.99 the 1MORE True Wireless Earbuds may not necessarily be the most budget-friendly, but they are sure to pack a punch. With advertised Bluetooth 5.0 and only 15-minutes of charge time for 3 hours of playback, how well do these earbuds live up to expectations?

Out of the Box

The 1MORE Stylish True Wireless in-ear headphones are packaged nice and tidy. Equipped with an egg-shaped charging case weighing a total of 53 grams, I would consider this case to be bulkier than others. There’s a simple button on the front for easy-open to the cradle and a notification light just above it. The charging case is simple with a micro-USB plug in the back. Included in the box is a short micro-USB to USB-A cable, 3 sets of ear tips and o-hooks for a customizable fit. The earbuds themselves only weigh 6 grams each and have a metallic sheen to it with indicator lights letting you know when they are charging or low battery.

Battery Life

The battery life on these earbuds seem to last forever. The carrying case charges quickly and the earbuds never gave out during my testing period. 1MORE advertises a music playback time of 6.5 hours with the case battery capacity of 96 hour of stand by time. I was able to charge the case at the beginning of the week and have it last the entire week. This is an impressive feat. Each earbud was able to outlast each listening session and I was able to go 3+ hours continuously on a long podcast and switch over to some music without running out of battery. Without doubt, this is one of the most impressive features of the 1MORE earbuds.

Fit & Comfort

Perhaps the most disappointing aspect of the 1MORE Stylish True Wireless Earbuds was the fit. The earbuds come with 3 different sizes of ear tips and hooks to be able to fit into the ear, but no matter which set I switched to, I was unable to find a combination that stays in place.

It feels tricky, because at first, once you put them on, they sit nicely and possess a comfortable seal for the audio, but with even the slightest movement or gust of wind, these earbuds immediately fall out. My ears may be too small for these earbuds or maybe the center of gravity is too far off from the outside of the earbuds but no matter how well they initially sit, they just keep slipping out and produce an uncomfortable and annoying listening experience.

Sound Quality

While these earbuds are a bit beefier in size, they definitely pack a punch when it comes to sound. The quality coming from these earbuds are the best feature in the price point. Usually with earbuds of any kind, I don’t have any expectations for the sound quality because of the size capacity, but the 1MORE earbuds supplied amazing audio range as well as some decent bass. They credit this sound quality to their dynamic driver being made with a titanium composite that was specifically tuned by the Grammy award winning sound engineer, Luca Bignardi. As someone who frequently reviews earphones and am a self-proclaimed audiophile, I truly experienced a significant noticeable difference when it came to the sound quality in these compared to other earphones.

After all, what good are a pair of earphones that don’t stay in the ear?

Verdict

The 1MORE Stylish True Wireless in-ear Headphones provide a ridiculous battery life span and amazing sound quality. Despite these major benefits, they lack the fit to make a solid pair of wireless earbuds.  If and when these earbuds do fit, they create such an incredible seal, it is almost like a pair of noise cancelling earbuds. Unfortunately, at least for me, the fit makes it hard to enjoy the quality of these awesomely tuned headphones. After all, what good are a pair of earphones that don’t stay in the ear?
