CES 2024: RingConn’s Smart Ring Is Packed With Features Without A Subscription

Retail Pricing: $279.00

Wearables and AI were two of the most common themes at CES 2024, but what happens when you bring them together? We got to take a closer look at the RingConn Smart Ring at CES Unveiled.

overview

The RingConn Smart Ring is made of Titanium and features a PVD coating to protect it from wear and tear. The Ring is IP68 waterproof and comes in a variety of colors including silver, black and gold. It’s comparable to the size of a thicker wedding band and weighs anywhere from 3 to 5 grams, depending on the size worn.

features

Similar to other wearable brands, RingConn’s ring includes the usual like heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation, skin temperature and movement tracking. It also uses AI to calculate scores for users specific to activity, sleep and stress. This includes calorie estimation, activity intensity tracking, activity scores, sleep metrics and stress tracking. The Ring also integrates with other apps such as Google Fit and Apple Health.

The Ring currently cannot predict menstrual cycles and does not yet offer meditation guidance or mindful breathing, but RingConn says it hopes to have these features soon. All metrics can be viewed from its app, which also features a 24/7 HealthKeeper that gives users actionable insights with the data it collects. RingConn says their app requires no subscription and is free for all users.

The Ring has a 7 day battery life and is charged through its portable charging case and USB-C cable. It’s available now for $279.
