Baby Brezza ProWash360 Review

Bigger Capacity, Smaller Footprint

Retail Price: $329.99

One of the most useful baby products you could possibly buy is a bottle washer. It just saves so much time and effort for weary parents especially during the first 6 months of a newborn's life. We know of the Baby Brezza bottle washers very well as we used our Bottle Washer Pro religiously and reliably where it resided in our kitchen for a long time. Baby Brezza sent us their brand new model, the Baby Brezza ProWash360, to review and it’s a sleeker and more effective machine than the company has ever produced. Is this a worth successor?

Design

The ProWash360 is considered an all in one washer and what that means is that it washes, sterilizes, and dries baby bottles, pump parts, and baby accessories. While our son is now past infancy, we used our bottle washer every single day multiple times a day not only for convenience but also for reliability because we had a NICU baby who was born prematurely. The ProWash360 features a larger capacity than its predecessor and can fit up to 8 different narrow sized bottles. There’s two tiers to the washer, with the bottom portion for bottles and the upper tier for accessories and parts. In our experience, we use wide bottles like that of the Pigeon brand so the capacity is naturally a little less but still holds more than its former version. Despite having a larger capacity, the ProWash360 is 25% smaller and more narrow giving families slightly more counter space back

What’s New

Using the bottle washer is very easy. Ensure that you fill up the water tank to the fill line, then place it in the back portion of the washer. Rotate through the settings and pick your desired selection. There’s options to wash only, wash and dry, or wash, dry, and sterilize in one. Ensure you have a tablet placed inside the tank itself and then press start. The ProWash360 features rotating spray jets that Baby Brezza touts are clinically proven to remove 100% of milk residue and kill 99.9% of germs with steam. In our experience using the washer, there’s been no residue left and all our items come out clean. This even includes older baby items like straw attachments and more.

The ProWash360 can wash, sterilize and dry in just 60 minutes, making it ideal for parents of newborns who go through bottles constantly. What’s new with this version though is that there’s also a 72-hour storage feature that keeps items sterilized and dry inside for up to 72 hours. What this means is that the dryer setting occasionally turns on automatically to keep everything ready for the next use. While this is a nice added touch, I noticed that it doesn’t dry enough to dry things like off kilt or upside down bottle lids that have trapped water in them. For those, you’d still need to manually dry before the next use.

The machine needs to drain through a hose to a sink

Another difference from its former version is that the ProWash360 has a connecting hose that directly drains water from the washer into your sink. There’s small rubber attachments on the hose to help keep it mounted on your counter and sink to keep things tidy. The convenience of the former version is that you could manually empty the tank yourself after a wash and didn’t necessarily need to place the washer next to a sink. This made it convenient for shelf storage or for anyone wanting to keep the washer elsewhere.

However, the benefit to the ProWash360 is that you no longer need to empty the tank after use since it drains itself but you will need to keep the washer next to a sink. I thought the hose on the ProWash360 was initially unappealing and unnecessary but after using it for a short while now, I find it convenient and appreciate that I no longer need to empty the dirty water tank manually.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

There’s still a few things to keep in mind when using the ProWash360. You’ll still need to use Baby Brezza detergent tablets to wash everything and keep things cleaned. Although we use only filtered water with our tank, we still use descaling tablets about once a week to remove mineral build-up. You’ll especially want to use these if you have hard water in your home. These are still added costs that you’ll need to maintain to use the ProWash360. Despite the larger capacity, your mileage for how much fits in the washer will vary depending on what type of bottles and accessories you are using. The most effective bottle design to fit this washer is the Dr. Brown narrow bottles, but for those like me who prefer to use wider mouthed bottles or pieces, you won’t be able to fit a full 8 bottles as advertised in here.

The Baby Brezza bottle washer continues to be what I think should be a must-have on any registry. The ProWash360 features all the benefits of its predecessor with a more thoughtful and modern design that does exactly what it says. It’s a workhorse that saves parents precious time, especially in the earlier moments of parenthood and is easy to use and maintain.
