CES 2024: The Evie Ring is the First Wearable Smart Ring Designed for Women

Developed by Movano Health (Nasdaq: MOVE), the Evie Ring is the first wearable health ring designed specifically for women. Showcased at CES Unveiled 2024 this year, the Evie Ring will begin shipping at the end of January to consumers and is grounded in research from biometrics and interviews with more than 1,000 women. The Evie Difference
Created with a small gap in the ring surface, the Evie ring is made from a scratch resistant and water resistant zirconium-based material called Liquidmetal®. The gap allows for daily fluctuations in finger size due to hormonal changes and other factors.
What it measures
The Evie Ring uses medical-grade sensors to measure health metrics such as heart rate, heart rate variability, SpO2, respiration rate and skin temperature variability. It can also calculate menstrual health metrics such as symptom and mood tracking and period and ovulation estimates. Additional metrics include sleep quality (sleep duration and sleep stages) and activity tracking metrics (activity minutes, calories burned and steps).
how it interprets data
Evie uses user data to personalize the app and give feedback to users pertaining to their goals and health patterns over time. By using a custom AI engine, Evie searches for correlations across menstrual health, mood, energy, sleep and activities and offers users insight to help modify their behaviors in order to optimize daily routines.

The Evie Ring is advertised with four days of battery life and has a portable charging case that can recharge the ring up to 10 times on one charge for easy access. The Evie Ring is currently available for preorder in the U.S. for $269 with no monthly subscription fee and is currently only compatible with iOS devices. Evie is planning to support Android devices beginning in Q2 2024.
